Given my experience everyday life improves when we improve the foods we eat, lifestyle and the way in which we take care of ourselves. My mission as a health coach is to help you obtain optimal health through what I call the Four (4) Key Elements so you too can perform at an optimal level in all facets of life. What is a Health Coach?
It's someone who provides information on food, nutrition, exercise and mindfulness, and explains how all those inputs effect your body. A health coach also provides guidance on how to be healthy within your specific lifestyle, how to make better choices, and how to avoid land mines. A health coach insists on accountability, provides both encouragement and touch points keeping you on track each week to help you reach your specific goals.
A Health Coach can also be described as a combination of life coach and nutritionist, an accountability partner, a guide, friend, and even a health therapist. The reason for that is we look at all aspects of someones life in an effort to really figure out what is at the root of the symptoms they are experiencing, and come up with a unique plan to help fix it.
Most of my clients come to me to develop a healthy & sustainable lifestyle, and often theres also something else going on thats stopping them from attaining good health. When something is missing, that piece is going to impact the puzzle as a whole. My job as a health coach is to help you get to know yourself better and work to come up with strategies and new habits to help you become a better, happier and healthier version of you so that all of the pieces fit together!
Its my belief a Health Coach should walk their talk meaning they should look, live and breath the part of a Lifestyle Expert. A Health Coach should also be able to share their own personal success story, and provide a track record of client success stories who have also made a successful lifestyle change
Why Primal and Ancestral Health?
Why are my efforts now focused on Primal and Ancestral Health? In short because our country is getting SICK and slowly dying from our unhealthy lifestyles from the food we eat, to the time spent sitting at a desk, ever increasing levels of stress along with poorer quality of sleep. My MISSION as a Primal Health Coach is simple… help get people healthy & improve daily and professional performance!
I’m a certified health coach which is based on the Primal Blue Print developed by health coach extraordinaire Mark Sisson. I’ve invested thousands of hours of my time learning how to optimize my health, energy, mood, job performance and overall outlook on life which has literally transformed every aspect of my life!
At age 57, I feel like I’m 39 again, look my personal best, and have eliminated my aches and pains built up during many years of competitive sports & paddling (which is amazing considering the fact I’ve spent most of my adult life 30 pounds heavier!).
